There is a forest preserve near my house in Chicago with several graffiti-covered walls beneath an abandoned railroad bridge. Every once in a while during spring migration, birds like this male Blackburnian Warbler will start to forage along this wall after discovering that it hosts a large number of insects. Having a zoom lens was essential for capturing this image, allowing me to quickly adapt to the changing colors and patterns entering and exiting the frame as the bird moved along different parts of the wall.
