A pair of Sandhill Cranes flying over Mt. Adams during sunrise in April. This area is one of the few breeding locations for Sandhill Cranes in the PNW. I reached this location by kayak, but took the photo while standing in the waist-deep water. These wetlands are often misty during early spring because of the cold mornings.
