How to Submit
First off be sure your photo is thoughtful and a technically sound photo before submitting. While Immerse in the Wild is all about sharing wildlife photography in a larger format that doesn’t mean it has to be a small-in-frame style photo. Feel free to submit any wildlife photo that you think would do best when viewed on a larger screen, close up photos with lots of detail can be just as impressive as photos that feature a lot of scenery.
Technical Requirements:
Submitted photos must be a minimum of 5,000 pixels wide or 3,333 pixels tall for portrait oriented photos
Save your submitted photo as an 8-bit JPEG with the highest quality and be sure to convert to sRGB color profile before submitting
Files must be less than 10mb
Photos submitted with no watermark are preferred but subtle watermarks will be allowed.
Please only submit 1 photo per month
Send in your beautiful wildlife photos, that’s it! If you don’t meet any of the requirements listed above your photo will not be considered for sharing on Immersed in the Wild.
Your Chance to be Featured!
This is your chance to add to the photography featured on Immersed in the Wild. Ray Hennessy is the current curator for this website and as more curators are added they will be listed here. Because the photography is going to be viewed on larger screens there are somewhat strict requirements for the quality of submitted photos which are listed below. While every photo submitted will be considered, not every photo will be posted to the website, even if it meets the technical requirements for submission the decision to share is left to the current curators. Please remember it doesn’t mean your photo is bad, it simply means the photo may not fit in with the current aesthetic of Immersed in the Wild.

Regarding watermarks, Immerse in the Wild would love if you wouldn’t mind sharing without a watermark in keeping with the cleanliness of the website. Your name and links to your website, and social media will be included. We all know that watermarks can be removed in a seconds with modern AI removal tools. If you prefer to include your watermark that is fine and your photo will still be considered for publishing.
